After more than five years and over 200 weddings, I’m still completely drawn to capturing people in love.
From intimate elopements to multi-day celebrations, what interests me isn’t just how a wedding looks - it’s how it feels.
The build-up.
The nerves.
The instinctive hand squeeze.
The moment you realise you’re married.
Starting Woven Images was a natural choice. It brings together everything I love - connecting with people, storytelling through film, a bit of techy gear chat, and a strong appreciation for style and fashion.
At its core, it’s about creating films grounded in real emotion and genuine connection. A final product that reflects not just what the wedding looked like, but what it FELT like to be there.
One of the things couples tell me most after their wedding is how comfortable and relaxed they felt - like they could actually be themselves instead of performing for the camera. That’s always the goal.
My approach is really natural and observational, with a bit of direction here and there when it helps. I might guide you into some beautiful light and then just let you be together - walking, talking, laughing, soaking it all in. Sometimes I’ll give a small prompt, like pulling your partner in close or taking a quiet second together, but never anything forced or overly posed.
I’ll never ask you to act like someone you’re not. The connection is already there — I’m just creating the space for it to naturally unfold.
I’m always aware of the big moments - but it’s the ones in between that stay with me.
The congratulations hugs straight after the ceremony.
Hands reaching for each other during vows.
Being held by the people who know you best.
These are the moments that shift a film from something constructed into something deeply real.
I love working with couples who care deeply about the experience of the day - who have an eye for style, love a good celebration, and are completely obsessed in the person they’re marrying.
If a bold reception entrance feels just as right as a quiet sunset moment together, and you value presence over perfection, we’ll likely work very well together.
I see these films as heirlooms. Something you return to on anniversaries. Something your children or grandchildren might one day sit down and watch - to see who you were, who loved you, and how it all began.
It’s an honour to capture your story and turn it into something that lasts well beyond the day itself.
Your film will be entirely personal - never cookie-cutter, never cheesy.
Films made to last
I take a thoughtful, hands-on approach to editing, so I don’t rush the process. I aim to have final films delivered around the three to four-month mark, though during peak season this can extend to up to five months depending on workload.
If you have a specific date in mind - or would love your film sooner - you’re welcome to ask about a Rush Edit when you enquire.
